The 1996 Kawasaki ZX-9R Ninja is a powerful sportbike with a 899cc four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine featuring four valves per cylinder and a liquid cooling system. It has a compression ratio of 11.5:1 and runs on four 40mm Keihin CVKD carburetors, with digital ignition and Kawasaki Throttle Responsive Ignition Control (K-TRIC) for smooth starting.
