The Kawasaki Ninja 400 R was produced from 2012 to 2013 and has a four-stroke, parallel twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 399cc. The engine has a compression ratio of 11.0:1 and is liquid-cooled with fuel injection. It can produce a maximum power output of 42 hp at 9500rpm and maximum torque of 37 Nm at 7500 rpm.
