The Kawasaki GPz 400R or ZX 400 was a motorcycle produced in 1985. It had a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 399cc and a compression ratio of 11.5:1. The induction system included 4 Keihin CVKD30 carburetors and an ignition system with CDI. The bike had an electric starter and could produce a maximum power of 59 hp at 12000 rpm and torque of 3.6 kgf-m at 10500 rpm.
