The Honda CX 500 motorcycle was produced in 1978 and featured a four-stroke, longitudinal 800 V-twin cylinder engine with an OHV and four valves per cylinder operated by pushrods. It had a capacity of 497 cc and a compression ratio of 10.0:1. The bike had 2x 34mm Keihin carbs and an ignition system of CDI.
