Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade (2011)

The Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade/C-ABS motorcycle from 2011 has a 998cc four stroke engine with a maximum power of 175.6hp and maximum torque of 115 Nm. It has a six-speed transmission and a diamond; aluminum composite twin-spar frame. The front suspension is a 43mm inverted HMAS cartridge-type telescopic fork and the rear suspension is a unit Pro-link with gas-charged HMAS damper. The motorcycle has Combined ABS and sintered metal pads for both front and rear brakes. The standing 1/4 mile is 10.3 seconds and the top speed is 287.1 km/hr. The fuel capacity is 17.7 liters and the dry weight is 173kg, with the wet weight being 195kg or 209kg for the C-ABS version. The only update from the previous model is a more rigid crank and bigger flywheel to improve the engine’s drive out of bends and slight styling alterations. The Honda Legends World Endurance team used the C-ABS system at the Le Mans 24-hour race, making them the first team to run ABS at a world championship level.
