The Harley Davidson FXE 1200 Super Glide was manufactured from 1978-79 and featured a four-stroke, 45-degree V-twin engine with a capacity of 1207cc. The engine had 2 valves per cylinder and an induction system with a single 38mm Keihin carburetor. The bike featured an electronic ignition system and electric start, producing a maximum power of 58 hp and 42.3 kW at 5150 rpm.
