The Ducati Monster 1200 motorcycle from 2015-2016 is a four-stroke bike powered by a 1198cc Testastretta 11 degrees L-Twin engine with four Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder. The cooling system is liquid-based, and the compression ratio is 12.5:1. It has a wet, multiplate clutch with hydraulic control, an electronic fuel injection system, and a lightweight 2-1-2 exhaust system with catalytic converter and two lambda probes. It’s kick-started by Marelli electronics and has a light-action, wet, multiplate clutch with hydraulic control, and a 6-speed transmission with chain-driven final drive. The frame is tubular steel Trellis with a 43 mm fully adjustable upside-down fork and a progressive linkage with a fully adjustable monoshock swingarm at the back. The bike weighs 182 kg dry and 209 kg wet with a fuel capacity of 17.5 liters. It features riding modes, power modes, DSP Ducati Safety Pack (ABS + DTC), RbW, and passenger handles and seat cover, ready for anti-theft system and DDA, and comes with a colour TFT display.
