Ducati 98 Bronco / Cavallino (1959-63)

The Ducati 98 Bronco/Cavallino motorcycle was manufactured from 1959 to 1963. It had a four stroke, single cylinder, OHV, pushrod engine with a capacity of 98cc and a compression ratio of 7.1:1. The bike was air-cooled and had a Dell’ Orto ME16BS carburetor induction system, with a 6V, 28W flywheel magneto ignition system and a kick starter. The maximum power output was 4.5 kW at 6800 rpm. The transmission had four speeds and the final drive was a chain. The frame was made of tubular steel, with a duplex full cradle, and the front suspension was a Marzocchi hydraulically damped telescopic fork, while the rear suspension was a non-adjustable twin hydraulic shock swingarm.
