The Ducati 48 SL / Cacciatore was a motorcycle produced between 1964 and 1968. It had a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a piston port and a capacity of 47.6 cc. Its compression ratio was 9.5:1 and it was air-cooled. It had a wet, multiplate clutch and a three-speed transmission with a final chain drive. The frame was made of tubular steel with double down-tubes and had a telescopic fork front suspension and a swingarm with twin shocks for its rear suspension.
