Ducati 48 (1952-54)

The Ducati 48 was a motorcycle produced from 1952 to 1954. It had a four stroke, pullrod single cylinder engine with a capacity of 48cc and a maximum power of 1.1 kW/1.5 hp at 5500 rpm. Its induction system was a Weber 14 mm and it had a kick start. The clutch was wet and multiplate, and the transmission had 3 speeds. The final drive was a chain. The frame was a pressed steel design, and the front suspension was coils while the rear suspension was rigid with a spring loaded saddle.
