Ducati 250 Mach 1 (1964-66)

The Ducati 250 Mach 1 motorcycle was produced from 1964-66 and featured a four stroke, single cylinder, Desmo SOHC engine with a capacity of 248.6 cc. It had a compression ratio of 10:1 and was cooled by air. The bike had a Dell’Orto carburetor and battery-powered ignition with a 6V 60W generator. It had a wet, multi-plate clutch and a 5-speed transmission with gear ratios of 1st 2.53, 2nd 1.73, 3rd 1.35, 4th 1.10, and 5th 0.97:1. The frame was a single downtube and open frame with a large diameter backbone tube. Suspension included a hydraulic telescopic fork and swingarm with dual shocks.
