The BMW R69S was a popular motorcycle built from 1960 to 1969, with its peak production years being 1963 to 1965. The bike was designed for long rides thanks to its comfortable seating and smooth ride.
The R69S had a 594cc air-cooled, horizontally opposed twin engine that produced 42 horsepower and a top speed of around 110 miles per hour. It also had a 4-speed transmission and a shaft drive, which meant less maintenance and a longer lifespan compared to chain-driven bikes.
