BMW R 1250GS (2019)

The BMW R 1250GS (2019) motorcycle has a 1254cc, four-stroke, two-cylinder horizontally opposed Boxer engine with two overhead, spur gear driven camshafts, a counterbalance shaft and variable intake camshaft control system BMW ShiftCam, 4 valves per cylinder, and electronic intake pipe injection. The engine produces a maximum power of 136 hp at 7750 rpm and a maximum torque of 143 Nm at 6250 rpm. It has a six-speed gearbox with a shaft final drive and a wet clutch with anti-hopping function, hydraulically activated. The motorcycle has a two-section frame concept consisting of main frame with bolt-on rear frame, load-bearing engine, and BMW Motorrad 37mm Telelever front suspension with 190mm travel and a cast aluminum single-sided swing arm with BMW Motorrad Paralever rear suspension with WAD spring strut, continuously adjustable spring preload by means of hand wheel, and rebound-stage damping adjustable by hand wheel. The front brakes are two 305mm floating discs with 4-piston radial brake calipers and the rear brake is a single 276mm disc with a 2-piston floating caliper, both equipped with BMW Motorrad Integral ABS as standard. The wheels are die-cast aluminum with a front wheel of 3.00 x 19” and a rear wheel of 4.50 x 17”. The motorcycle has a seat height of 850 mm to 870 mm or 800 mm to 900 mm with the optional seat and a wet weight of 249 kg with a fuel capacity of 20 Litres.
