Bimota HB1 (1975)

The Bimota HB1 was a rare and exquisite motorcycle produced in 1975, with a limited production of only 12 units estimated. It was powered by a transverse four-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC engine, featuring 2 valves per cylinder, resulting in a displacement of 736cc. Its bore x stroke measured 61 x 63mm, and its compression ratio was 9.2:1. The cooling system was a combination of air and oil-cooled. The motorcycle featured a battery induction coil ignition and an electric starter. It was capable of generating a maximum power output of 51.5 kW or 69 hp at 8000 rpm. The gearbox had five speeds, and the final drive type was a chain. The HB1 had a double open cradle frame structure constructed from chrome-molybdenum tubes.
