Bimota DB2EF (1997 )

The Bimota DB2EF motorcycle was produced in limited quantities with only 100 units made in 1997, 75 of which had full fairings and 25 with half fairings. The bike had an air-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree L-twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 904cc and a compression ratio of 9.2:1. It had two 38mm Mikuni carburetors and was capable of producing 86 horsepower at 7000rpm and 66.5 lb-ft of torque at 5700rpm. The frame was made of chrome-molybdenum steel, with upper lattice work in a round section. The front suspension consisted of 41mm Paioli telescopic forks and the rear had a tubular steel swinging arm with an Ohlins monoshock. The front brakes had two 320mm discs and four-piston calipers, while the rear had a single 230mm disc and two-piston caliper. The bike had a fuel capacity of 16 liters and used a chain for final drive.
