Barigo 600 Supermotard 600 (1991-92)
The Barigo Supermotard 600 was produced in limited quantities from 1991-92. It was powered by a single cylinder, four stroke, DOHC, 4-valve Rotax engine with a capacity of 599cc and a compression ratio of 11.5:1. The motorcycle had a dry sump lubrication system, and an under-seat carbon silencer. The ignition was electronic with variable advance, and it had a 12V, 8Ah battery. It used electric start technology and had a maximum power of 45.5 kW/61 hp at 8000rpm and a maximum torque of 57Nm/5.81kgf-m/42lbs-ft at 6000 rpm. The Barigo Supermotard 600 had a wet, multi-plate clutch and was equipped with a five-speed transmission. Its top speed was 180 km/h or 112 mph. The motorcycle had a perimeter aluminum frame with a removable rear section and front suspension was equipped with a WP inverted telescopic fork, 40mm adjustable for compression and rebound. The rear suspension was a mono shock, which was mounted directly on the link without a swingarm. The motorcycle had front and rear brakes: a single 310 mm floating disc with a 4 or 6 piston Beringer calliper and a single 220 mm disc with a single piston calliper respectively. The front and rear wheels both had a 5-spoke aluminum or laced wire spoke design, and its tyres were 120/60-17 and 150/60-17 for the front and rear respectively. The motorcycle had a ground clearance of 272mm and a seat height of 851mm. It weighed 132kg and had a fuel capacity of 9 L / 2.4 US gal (under seat). The color options available were blue/blue, black/red, red/blue, and red/red.
