The Buell XR9R FireboltSportfighter motorcycle was produced in 2005 with a 984cc, four-stroke, pushrod actuated overhead valve engine with a capacity of 60 cu in. It has a compression ratio of 10.0:1 and is air-cooled with a dry sump lubrication system. The fuel injection system is DDFI with a 45mm downdraft.
