BMW R1100RS (1997-98)
The BMW R1100RS motorcycle was produced from 1997-98 and was designed for long-distance touring. It had a 1,085cc, air/oil-cooled, twin-cylinder engine with fuel injection and produced 90 horsepower. The bike’s chassis had a Telelever front fork and a Paralever swingarm with a single-sided rear wheel attachment. The suspension was adjustable for preload and damping. The brakes were dual front discs and a single rear disc, with standard ABS. The R1100RS also had a full fairing and windscreen for rider comfort and protection from the elements.
